Digital print Re-imagining 29

Re-Imagining 29:

Inkjet on watercolour paper
90 x 60 centimetres

CCTV footage has become a visual staple of news reports and it was the close circuit television image of an enraged pub or RSL club manager pursuing an intruder that provided the drama for this print. The white face paint and red party wig of the quarry, the guy in overalls, probably the cleaner assisting his boss, the distortion caused by the wide angle elevated point of view and the chintzy decor of cheap pub carpet, laminate tables and vinyl chairs create a vaguely improbable atmosphere that is often a hallmark of CCTV imagery.
